There are only a few slots left open for my reading group Beyond the Tropes this October with the Center for Fiction. I have chosen some great titles by wonderful and talented authors in the horror genre for this new session.
This new session we venture into the lore of the vampire and will be reading three books whose stories go beyond the tropes of vampires hunting for food. In these stories, vampires have a purpose that their focused on. A plot they are determined to see through to the end. Is it to benefit themselves or is there more behind their motivations?

The Strain by Guillermo Del Toro and Chuck Hogan
