Beyond the Tropes Series with Marc L Abbott returns to the Center for Fiction. Now open for registration.

The Beyond the Tropes series returns to the Center for Fiction for a new series for the summer. Beyond the Tropes II: African American voices in Speculative Short Story Form begins June 13th and will cover selections from Dark Matter: A Century of Speculative Fiction from the African Diaspora and Dark Matter: Reading the Bones. In addition, we will be covering several of the essays from both collections as well.
